We identify the current owner and reach out on your behalf — they never know who the buyer is. This typically lands a 30-60% lower price than naming yourself.

You approve, we close
If we get to a price under your cap, you confirm. Funds escrow through Escrow.com, domain transfers to your Modusdom account, our fee is included in the final price.

What does this actually cost?
Our broker fee is 15% of the final purchase price, with a $99 minimum. You see one number — the all-in price — when we present the offer to you. If we don't close, you owe nothing.
How long does it take?
Most domains close in 1–3 weeks. Unresponsive sellers can stretch to 2 months. We give weekly updates either way.
What if the owner refuses or asks for too much?
No charge to you. We'll suggest similar available domains or alternative spellings as a free consolation prize.
How does the actual transfer work?
Funds escrow through Escrow.com (industry standard). The seller transfers the domain via EPP code to your Modusdom account. Once you confirm receipt, Escrow.com releases funds. Standard process used by every major broker.
Why "anonymous" — what does that buy me?
Domain prices are wildly elastic. If a known startup or established business reaches out directly, the asking price often jumps 5-10x. We send the inquiry from our broker desk so the owner can't price-discriminate based on who you are.
