Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Modusdom (operated by NY Screens Media LLC, hereafter "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Services

We provide domain registration, email hosting, DNS management, and related managed services as a reseller of OpenSRS / Tucows. We are not the underlying registrar; we sit in front of one.

3. Registrant rights

You are the registrant of any domain registered through us. You own it. You can transfer it out to another registrar at any time. We do not hold domains hostage.

4. Payments

Setup fees and recurring service fees are billed via Stripe. Domain registration fees are charged at the time of registration. All fees are in USD.

6. ICANN policies

All domain registrations are subject to the policies of the underlying registrar (OpenSRS / Tucows), the relevant registry (Verisign, PIR, etc.), and ICANN. This includes WHOIS accuracy requirements, the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), and the rules for TLD-specific eligibility (e.g., .us Nexus, .nyc presence).

7. Acceptable use

Don't use our services for illegal content, spam, phishing, malware distribution, or activity that violates ICANN policy. We reserve the right to suspend service for clear violations.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Domain availability and pricing are subject to registry changes outside our control.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active customers at least 30 days before taking effect.
