Domain lookup
See who owns any domain, when it was registered, when it expires, and where it's hosted — served live via RDAP, the modern replacement for WHOIS.
WHOIS, RDAP & your privacy
“WHOIS” is the public directory of who owns every domain on the internet. In 2026 the industry began retiring the old WHOIS protocol in favor of RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) — same data, modern JSON format. This tool queries RDAP live, so it keeps working as registries switch over.
Either way, registrars are required to publish the owner's name, email, address, and phone number — unless privacy protection is enabled, which replaces those details with a proxy.
Modusdom enables that privacy free, by default, on every TLD where the registry allows it. Your personal info stays out of scraping bots, spam lists, and direct-to-owner marketers.
