Refund Policy

Setup fees

Setup fees (e.g. $499 Professional setup, $999 AI/SaaS Startup bundle) are refundable within 14 days of purchase, minus any actual costs incurred (domain registration fees are non-refundable from the registry's side).

Recurring monthly fees

Monthly managed-service fees ($49/mo, $99/mo, $199/mo) are billed in advance for the month ahead. Cancel any time — the remaining unused portion is not refunded but service continues to the end of the billed period.

Domain registration fees

Domain registration fees are non-refundable. Once we submit a registration to the registry, the fee is paid to the registry and cannot be recovered. This is industry-standard across all registrars.

WHOIS privacy fees

Privacy fees are non-refundable for the same reason: charged to the privacy provider and not recoverable.

Domain transfer / migration fees

Refundable before work begins. Once we initiate the transfer with the losing registrar, the fee is non-refundable (the transfer triggers an additional year of registration cost that we incur).

Annual renewal fees

Renewal fees are billed 14 days before expiry. If you cancel the renewal before the registry has processed it (typically 5 days before expiry), we'll refund. After processing, non-refundable.

Disputes

Email hello@modusdom.com. We try to resolve all disputes by direct conversation before any chargebacks. If we made a mistake, we'll make it right.
