We use a small number of cookies for things the site genuinely needs. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics that profile you, no fingerprinting.
Cookies we set

That's it. One cookie. No persistent tracking IDs, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
What we don't use
- No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar. Our admin reporting comes from our own database — we don't need third-party tracking.
- No Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Twitter Pixel. We don't run paid social ads, so no need to load these.
- No advertising cookies. We don't sell ads.
- No "consent banner" needed under GDPR because we don't drop non-essential cookies.
Third-party services that may set their own cookies
- Stripe checkout — when you proceed to payment, you're redirected to Stripe's site. Stripe sets its own cookies per their cookie policy.
- Google / Microsoft OAuth — when you click "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Microsoft", those providers set cookies in their domains. We never see them.
- Tawk.to live chat (when enabled) — if you start a chat, Tawk sets a session cookie. See their privacy policy.
Opting out
You can't really opt out of PHPSESSID while using the site — without it, you can't sign in, check out, or use the cart. If you'd rather not use cookies at all, contact us at hello@modusdom.com and we'll register the domain on your behalf manually.
